Keeping Class Sizes Small
Hired two elementary teachers and two part-time paraprofessionals in 2022.
In 2024–25, reallocated paraprofessional funds to hire a part-time teacher to provide families the option to attend either a three-day or five-day 4K program.
Restored High School Business Education
Brought back a business education teacher in 2022.
Now offering six courses and a revitalized Future Business Leaders of America program with 30+ students annually.
Expanded Agricultural Science
Added more agricultural science classes by adjusting teaching assignments.
Continued Summer School
Summer school has been offered each year since the referendum passed.
Over 400 students were enrolled in 2025 to maintain academic skills and explore new interests.
Supporting English Learners
Hired a part-time English Language Learner specialist for three years (state requirement).
Starting in 2025–26, using in-house staff, offering the same support, and greater efficiency.
Covering Daily Operations
Maintained day-to-day operations despite inflation and rising costs.
Reduced short-term borrowing and continue to work toward sustaining a fund balance for emergencies.

Updated electrical, plumbing, and fixtures in classrooms (2022–present).
Chemistry lab renovation in 2025 with new lighting, plumbing, counters, and flooring.
Bathroom Improvements
Middle School bathrooms renovated (2024).
West-wing bathrooms converted to storage.
Shop & Lab Updates and Safety
New paint booth installed in the technical/ag education area (2023) with proper ventilation.
Sidewalk & Drainage Work
Replaced three city blocks of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks in 2024 in coordination with the Village.
